At Flanagan Farm, we bring the timeless art of fermentation to every table with our delicious, fresh sauerkrauts. Our process is simple - we plant premium organic seeds in nutrient rich soil so all that’s needed to help them grow is sun and water. Once the cabbage is grown, we pick each one with care and place it on a truck that travels less than 75 miles north to our production facility in Bear Creek, Wisconsin. It begins fermenting within a day of being harvested for super fresh, probiotic-rich sauerkraut. We believe our organic kraut is a superfood that supports human well-being, and therefore it should be affordable and accessible to every family.
We also believe in giving back and looking towards the future so 1% of our sales proceeds are donated to the Food + Farm Exploration center in Plover, Wisconsin. This unique establishment’s mission is to increase the understanding of foods’ origins and to deepen the relationship between farmers and consumers.
